Bookmark & Bookplate
I have had the privilege of knowing and working with the talented
for almost as long as I’ve been in publishing. She took some of my first author headshots, and she never fails to create stunning bookmarks and bookplates for my stories. The ones she designed for Glass Across the Sea are my favorite yet!Emilie also designed the cover and lighthouse foil stamp for this book. She took my vision for a “pretty dress cover” and brought it to life. And just look at this gorgeous foil stamp underneath the jacket. I think it represents the story perfectly.
“In the darkness, on top of a hill just outside the central village, a lighthouse appeared, and in that lighthouse, a lantern shone.” — Glass Across the Sea
Quote Sticker
I met at a writing conference earlier this year. As soon as she showed me her sticker artwork, I knew I had to commission her to create something special for my readers. After some thought, we came up with this design of a cracked glass pumpkin sitting on top of The Lamplighter Parables (the story within my story). I am so pleased with the final result, and I love the quote we landed on. Hannah is such a kindhearted soul, and I hope you’ll give her a follow and support her art (and her writing)!
“True light can never be destroyed.” — Glass Across the Sea
Desktop/Mobile Wallpaper
I’ve been in love with Mariposa Aristeo’s art since the first time she created a piece for my standalone contemporary retelling of “The Little Mermaid,” Coral. Since then, she has become a mentee, a friend, and now a fellow Enclave author! Her debut novel, Sons of Day and Night, releases in November, and I am thrilled for you all to get a chance to read her words.
The piece she created for Glass Across the Sea has my heart and gives me all the feels. It features Noelle and Prince Dante (the novel’s two protagonists) walking along their favorite hidden seashore. The scene takes place in Chapter 3 from Dante’s perspective, and the quote featured in the artwork is also first found in this chapter.
“Even shattered glass, lost across the sea, finds its way back to shore. But not before it is changed—made more beautiful and more refined than the day it was broken.”
— Glass Across the Sea
Their sweet love story is one I can’t wait to share with you. The artwork will be available for digital download in both desktop and mobile formats for all preorder claims.
