This was exactly the thing I needed today. I struggled with my own chaotic anthology release only recently, and this was the perfect reminder. ✨💕 Thank you so much for sharing! (And happy release day!!)

I'm so very glad your husband is okay! And how exciting for your son! As a theater kid myself, I thoroughly approve. 🥰

I hope you have a perfectly magical day.

I love you dearly, Sara. Thank you for giving us a window into your reality and for being so present with your family even on your special day. I'm glad your husband is okay!! When I think of GATS, the first word I sense is "hope," and I'm feeling that for you. I know God is going to use it for His glory and as a Light to encourage many people. Huzzah for the book successfully launching! Now we get to watch it sparkle in orbit. 💛🚀🌠

Thank you! I think sometimes we all need to see the “real” and the mess to know it’s normal. I hope you enjoy the story!

Aww, I relate to this post so much.

I am also a morning person (and am quite reluctant if I must leave my cozy home before 10 AM ☺️). There are fewer delights than a quiet morning, warm tea and coffee, and sitting outdoors as the first rays of sunlight spill over the mountains (which I can finally enjoy now that the AZ inferno has passed). Ah!

It isn't easy when a special day or event doesn't match our expectations. As a Type A person (with a big imagination!), I have a dreadful habit of fantasizing the perfect day, but life always throws unexpected surprises. That brings Proverbs 19:21 to my mind: "Many plans are in a man’s heart, But the counsel of the LORD will stand." Looking back, I can see that His plans are the best, even though I don't always understand His leading in the moment. How marvelous that God has planned every aspect of our lives and woven our life stories in such an incredible way!

I'm glad that you were still able to enjoy a sprinkle of lovely moments yesterday. ☕️📖 (Cracking open geodes never gets old!)

Oh yes, the porch mornings in AZ autumn are the best and such a relief after summer. ❤️ I am the same way and have a romantic view of the perfect day and how I should look and feel etc… But God always humbles me and reminds me it’s for His Glory and not my own that my books reach the hands of readers.
